Weve already witnessed an ephemeral Tupac proceed to rap in his holographic guise, so why not Biggie? If you havent listened to the mix tape mash-up of The Notorious B.I.G. rapping over the XXs midnight noodlings, then Google it, download and enjoy. And thats what Id like to see: the XX/Notorious B.I.G. mix tape in action. Get the XX to perform with virtual Biggie, and considering that the band themselves are self-professed Aaliyah fans (having covered her song Hot Like Fire) maybe we could get more than one holographic legend on stage. The XXs music is sophisticated and lovelorn enough to temper some of the inherent crassness of such a holographic spectacle.
