Or if there is, it certainly did not come from the minds of Jimi Hendrix, Noel Redding or Mitch Mitchell. Ignoring Hendrixs concept designs, Reprise pushed on and decided to wrap this magnificent double LP inside a gang of women flaunting their corporeal finery.

It may have reflected the decades relaxed attitude to sex and nudity but Hendrix, a legendary artistic perfectionist, expressed much disdain for the covers fleshy feast and menagerie of mammary glands.
