10 Popular Artists You Didn't Know Released Music In 2019

9. Mark Ronson

Speaking of Ronson, guest collaborators including Jamie xx, Tame Impala and Alicia Keys couldn’t save Mark Ronson’s fifth studio album from obscurity.

Released a full seven months after the hit single Nothing Breaks Like a Heart with Miley Cyrus, Ronson’s Late Night Feelings released to little fanfare when compared to his previous album Uptown Special.

Ronson couldn’t make a number one single out of this album, and as a result couldn’t get a number one album. This gloomy post-divorce pop was marred by controversial comments Ronson made in the press regarding his sexuality. Furthering ideas that Ronson is ungrateful, out-of-touch and pretentious.

Lykke Li and Angel Olsen’s star power in particular has been boosted by the album, but Ronson to the mainstream has never been an album artist. So with no hits, who is going to remember the album that dropped in June 2019?

Ronson claimed the tunes on this album to be “sad bangers”, but the saddest part for us is number of sleepy filler tracks. Pass.
