Wes Scantlin is the singer, songwriter and only remaining founding member of the rock band Puddle Of Mudd. The band first found fame in the early 2000s when Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst signed the band to Flawless Records and took them on tour. Come Clean would go on to sell over five million albums, thanks to hits like "Control," "Blurry" and "She Hates Me."

Scantlin -- like the rest of Puddle Of Mudd's founding members -- is originally from Kansas City. He graduated from Park Hill High School, which was also attended by a number of professional athletes, like basketball's Landry Shamet, football's Ondre Pipkins and soccer's Raymond Lee. According to legend, Puddle Of Mudd's band name was inspired by practicing next to the Missouri river levee, which often inundated the band's practice space.
