8. Seeing Gerard And Mikey Perform Together Was A Massive Tease
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vEQrMl1d07E Ever since MCR disbanded, fans have been frantically anticipating some sort of concrete reference to the boys past. Of course, as mentioned, the gang are clearly still friends, but none of the members have performed together or played any of their old music since that fateful day in March 2013. That was true until early 2015, at least, when Mikey joined his brother Gerard on-stage in Tokyo, Japan to an enormous response. Though they didn't play an MCR song (rather a brand new Gerard solo number titled Don't Try) seeing the brothers on stage didn't just tug at fans familial heartstrings, it tugged on their nostalgia, too. Here was a sight not seen in two years, half of MCR back on stage playing music. Perhaps Frank and Ray were somewhere nearby? Or maybe that's just my inner fan fiction speaking...
