10 Songs We All Know The Words To (But Wish We Didn't)

9. Don€™t Cha €“ The Pussycat Dolls

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YNSxNsr4wmA €œDon€™t cha wish your girlfriend was hot like me?€ A question posed to many in 2005 by six scantily-dressed women and respected rap artist Busta Rhymes. Of course these women are very obviously €˜hot€™. However this extremely offensive song has racked up 7 million copies sold worldwide and 38 million hits on YouTube. Also selling well in 2005 was Madonna€™s Hung Up, but we€™re all apparently sick of her ways and would rather watch a bunch of burlesque dancers ask us these complicated questions. Of course what makes this song so popular is the honesty in it. Main singer Nicole Scherzinger begins with €œI know you like me, I know you do€. Well of course; she€™s beautiful, skinny, tanned, and not wearing much. These are confident girls indeed, how empowering eh? The simplicity of the music, with claps so audiences can easily get involved doesn€™t make it too €˜in your face€™; that's saved for the chorus when we are confronted by all the women asking if the men want their girls to either be €œhot, a freak, raw or fun.€ It€™s like ordering a steak.
