15 Most Charismatic Frontmen Of All Time

13. Simon Neil

Simon Neil

Okay, so Simon Neil may not be a blindingly obvious choice for this list, but the Scottish rocker is one of the most compelling frontmen to emerge from the mid-noughties-to-present-day rock music scene. If it's not for his impressive facial fuzz, sporadic blonde mop or his bare tattooed chest it is his undeniably brilliant, throaty and powerful growl that sets him apart. Simon manages to evoke incredible emotion and in every performance he sings like it's the last night on earth. During acoustic sessions of songs such as Black Chandelier, we get to see another side of his individuality (unlike everyone else who's trying to sound like Caleb Followill) with quivering vocal lines of his soft Ayrshire accent protruding through. He is a live force to be reckoned with. 'Mon the Biff!' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lh3LocS_Bh8
