15 Ridiculous Cover Versions That Are Better Than The Original

With imitation being the sincerest form of flattery, an artist's hits will often be covered by someone else. Here are some of the best and some of the most unusual covers of great songs.

In the world of music, artists perform songs that in some cases will become hits. And of course, with imitation being the sincerest form of flattery, those hits will often be covered by someone else. Sometimes it's a performance on a reality competition, sometimes it's in a movie or video game and sometimes, it's a video uploaded to YouTube in an attempt to catch on with a label. Here is a collection of some of the best and in some cases, some of the most unusual covers of great songs found on YouTube.

15. Yuto Miyazawa Performs Crazy Train

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YMD_L8IDZnc Yuto Miyazawa is a young guitar prodigy from Japan. In 2008, he was named the "youngest professional guitarist" by the Guinness Book of World Records. In 2009, he was invited to appear on Ellen and seemed to really win her over. The above video is the full appearance by Yuto on the show. If you want to skip over the brief chat with Ellen Degeneres and get straight to the music, then jump to 1:45 in the video and witness an absolutely epic guitar performance of a song that is not easy to play. Even better, stick around after to see him get to meet Ozzy Osbourne and hear what the man himself has to say about Yuto's playing. Know that this isn't the only time Yuto got to see Ozzy, as he later performed Crazy Train again, this time onstage at Blizzcon with Ozzy singing. He would also repeat this performance at OzzFest 2010. If you want to hear him now, at age 13, he's performing with other young artists in a band call The Robotix.
