In terms of good years for music, 2015 certainly hasn't been a let down. The ear drums of those who have kept their finger on the pulse of what's good have been flooded with fantastic records and we're only half way through the year. Although it's great to have a seemingly never-ending wave of tunes coming through the woodwork of the internet on a regular basis, it's also difficult to keep tabs on everything.

if you're one of the many people who feel slightly out of touch when it comes to what artists you should be paying close attention too, then don't worry because we've done the hard work for you. After listening to some of the most recommended albums floating around the web, this article has listed 20 of the best to come out in 2015 and it's quite the eclectic bunch.

From a British punk rock legend returning to his roots to a young rapper from California with the type of lyrical content and flow that would make Ice Cube smile and nod his head, there's a little something for everyone when we list some of the best records to come out this year.

Hip hop fans may recognise Until The Ribbon Breaks from their feature on 'Job Well Done' from the debut album from hip hop juggernauts Run The Jewels. However, if you thought the British trio were just another guest on a rap album that would fade into obscurity then guess again because their first album, A Lesson Unlearnt, is a magnificent debut.

A mixture of R'n'B, electronica, hip hop and rock, Until The Ribbon Breaks might seem like a group who aren't quite sure what direction they want to go but if you can get past the unpredictable nature of their songs, the album becomes an incredibly enjoyable, and surprisingly cohesive experience which showcases the talents of all three members of the group.

Tracks like Revolution Indifference, Orca and Sparks are a mixture of chilled out vibes, pounding drums and catchy samples. All three combine perfectly to create tracks that'll have you nodding you head repeatedly.
