5 Artists Who May Have Slipped Under Your Radar

Dan Croll 011

When launching your career in music, similarly to bidding on eBay, shop lifting or going in for that crucial first-kiss, timing is the most important thing. That's what these next five bands/artists have realised and so therefore may have missed your music radar this year. Whether it's due to lack of radio-play or perhaps because they haven't performed in your local area before, there's no reason for anyone miss out on great music. And with the end of the year vast approaching it's not too late to listen to what the Class of 2013 have to offer.

5. Eliza And The Bear

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fk-iPUN7spY Eliza and the Bear are a five-piece band from London with a sound that is energetic with a huge dash of jollity. This year they€™ve managed to secure slots at summer festivals such as London€™s Hard Rock Calling, the Secret Garden Party, Wilderness Festival, Leopallooza and Newcastle€™s Evolution Festival. September saw the band embark on their first UK headline tour which received rave reviews from critics and fans alike. Lead singer James always manages to charm audiences with a smile on his face and a spring in his step, making this band a friendly formula and the ultimate music comfort blanket. Songs to check out are The Southern Wind and Upon The North which will immediately put you in a terrific mood! Brother€™s Boat is another exuberant track which revs into an almighty climax while euphoric trumpet parts punctuate through the bountiful layers of elegantly imaginative indie.
