5 Greatest The Beatles Albums

This morning I was awoken by a text to tell me today was Beatles Day. Not the most unusual early morning text I received, normally it€™s my little sister telling me I€™m ugly. But today it was my friend celebrating Beatles Day. And he, like I, loves The Beatles. Today (well actually yesterday, as this is going live a little late) is Beatles Day because it is the 50th anniversary of the release of Love Me Do. The Beatles are my favourite band. The only musician I love more then them is Bob Dylan. I can understand why people don€™t love Dylan as much as I do, but I can never understand people who say they don€™t like The Beatles. But those tend to be people who€™ve never really listen to The Beatles, because part of the band€™s longevity and genius is that their music crosses such a wide range there really is something for everyone. The Beatles have a song to suit every mood. It€™s become something of a thing to say you don€™t like The Beatles. But those who do tend to think of The Beatles as just I Want To Hold Your Hand and have never really delved into their back catalogue. I can tolerate when people say they don€™t like The Beatles, but they do like this song or that song. All the musicians I know or have ever known have all loved The Beatles, even the one that played in a grind core band. Not been a musician myself, I love The Beatles purely for the music and the way it makes me feel. I love the music of The Beatles so much that an appreciation of The Beatles is one of the attributes of my dream girl. Music can connect with us so much, I want somebody who can€™t help but want to dance to Twist And Shout, knows how it feel to drunkenly sing along to all the €˜na-na-nahs€™ of Hey Jude, and can appreciate the simple beauty of Blackbird. The emotional connection to The Beatles€™ music can become something of a shorthand way of explaining something. This band connects with me on such an emotional level, it is hard to cut the personal out of my opinions of them. But try I must as I present to you 5 Beatles albums that support my thesis that the music of The Beatles really does have something for everyone.
