5 Lou Reed Collaborations You May Not Have Heard Of

Honorable Mention: Various Artists For Children In Need 1997 'Perfect Day'

This cover of Reed's most well known track was recorded in parts, Band Aid style, for a BBC trail. The ad (which became the single's video) included appearances by legends such as David Bowie, Elton John, Bono, Brett Anderson (Suede), Boyzone, Tom Jones, Shane MacGowan, Heather Small and many more including the composer himself. This was Children In Need's most successful charity single in 1.55 Million copies in 1997. This track doesn't make the list because it is more of a cover than a obscure collaboration.
