Ad6344902iggy Pop During Hi For as long as narcotics and musicians have co-existed, they have co-mingled and ran head first towards each other, creating such an explosion of creative awesomeness that some of those souls who tried to keep the party going as long as possible ended up losing their lives. Others, seeing what the drugs could do, did their best to hop on the wagon, stay clean, and continue the career path that had led them down the road of decadence in the first place. In a lot of these cases, however, it seems that while they were cleansing themselves and removing any narcotics from their body for good, that something else slipped out relatively unnoticed at the time; something that they definitely needed in order to continue their chosen profession. Their creativity was completely sapped. They seemed unable to make any more good music now that they were clean. Or, at least, nothing quite as good as they music they were able to make when they were constantly chasing the dragon. Here's five such cases...
