Playing a musical instrument is one of the most personal experiences anyone can ever hope to have; the way you play music is as individual is your fingerprint and no two people will play the same thing in exactly the same way. Everyone has their own style, their own unique way of playing and their own interpretation of what constitutes a "good" sound. Whether that be in smooth melodies, relaxing rhythms and complementary chords or be it filthy, dissonant distortion, it's up to you, the joy of music is that everyone is right and no one is wrong. Given that everyone is a unique player, it begs the question as to why instruments are roughly so uniform? As long as you have the dream (and the money), you can have whatever you want and almost guarantee that not a single other person in the world will have another one like it.
