8 Wrestling Gimmicks That Totally Ripped-Off Musicians

6. Michael Saxon (Michael Jackson)

Michael Saxon briefly moonwalked his way into the spotlight as a non-too-subtle homage to the Prince of Pop before tripping over a single white rhinestone encrusted glove and right back into obscurity.

Nothing here was left to the imagination. As if his Jimmy Hart 'unlicensed' name wasn't enough (even if it was, inexplicably, frequently misrendered as 'Mike Saxon'), the sequinned jacket and dance moves were pulled straight from Jacko's post-Thriller playbook. The only thing missing was MJ's style, charisma, and ability.

Saxon tried, bless him, but his Michael Jackson impersonation was about as accurate as Leigh Francis'. The dancing would embarrass most drunk dads at a wedding, and the less said about the wrestling the better.

Still, Saxon's reputation today probably hovers slightly above MJ's. It pays to be unmemorably mediocre.
