Alter Bridge At The Royal Albert Hall: 7 Ups & 0 Downs

1. Up - Myles Kennedy

Take nothing away from the other performers, everybody involved in this show should be extremely proud of themselves, however Myles Kennedy was just a step above. He has been criticised in the past for live performances, but on this night he sung every note to perfection, never missing a beat, and his guitar work was impeccable as usual.

The real reason why Myles was MVP was just that you could see how much it meant to him. At every single opportunity he was thanking the orchestra sat behind him, going as far as to say "This is what it's all about".

Usually, what may be a special gig for fans is "just another show" for the band, but Myles showed, for himself and on behalf of the rest of the band, that this night truly was one of the most special performances of their career.

Myles also showed once again that he is one of the nicest people in the music industry. Whilst singing Broken Wings, he made his way to the side of the stage to have some selfies with the crowd. As he walked away he noticed that one girl had just missed him, so without missing a beat he went straight back over for another picture.

Myles Kennedy is a true inspiration, and makes you proud to be a fan of Alter Bridge.
