avenged sevenfold

Avenged Sevenfold have debuted the title track to their upcoming album, “Hail to the King,” via YouTube. Along with the announcement is a track listing for the new album, which will have 10 tracks and comes out Aug. 27.

The band is also selling a deluxe edition exclusive to their website that includes a bonus digital track, exclusive canvas print, photo book, and more.

The track list is as follows:

Shepherd of Fire
Hail to the King
Doing Time
This Means War
Crimson Day
Coming Home
Acid Rain

Shortly after, it was also announced that there will be a 15-date tour through the month of October featuring Deftones and special guest Ghost B.C. The tour kicks off in Chicago on Oct. 3 and wraps up in Las Vegas on Oct. 26. Announcements were made via social media and websites for all three bands, all indicate information regarding venues and ticket prices will be announced soon.

Fans immediately reacted on all three bands’ Facebook pages, and the expectations varied across the board. Some were hailing it as an awesome chance to see these three bands live and an opportunity for Ghost B.C. to open their fan base to people that weren’t previously exposed to their occult-esque music. Avenged Sevenfold and Deftones are two bands that were in my 10 Awesome Hard Rock Bands You Must See Live list, so to me it’s a “two birds, one stone” scenario and definitely worth checking out.
