4. Babymetal Are Still Odd (But Also Great)

Say what you want about Babymetal's idiosyncracies and just how odd the whoel thing is, they know how to put a show on and they really ought to have been on the main stage rather than the second. The crowd that turned out was one of the biggest for that stage and reflected the intrigue that follows them everywhere.

And behind the gimmick, it's important to note that the band are an incredible gifted group of musicians, which is why the gimmick works beyond the surface level.

3. Ozzy Could Go On Forever

He might be one of the most notorious hell-raisers in rock and roll history, but Ozzy has put it all behind him for a life spent looking after himself and his voice. And it's paying off as the 69-year-old was in brilliant form on Sunday night (better, in fact than the last time he was at Donington with Black Sabbath).

He can still scream with the best, he's a band leader and a front man and in his dynamic with Zakk Wylde he has something made of absolute magic. And let's hope he has no intention of stopping playing shows even as his tour proclaims itself a final one.
