Glastonbury: 5 Heavy Bands That Could Legitimately Headline

1. AC/DC

Black Sabbath
Columbia

It is honestly unbelievable that AC/DC haven’t already received the honour of headlining Glastonbury, as they are undeniably one of the world’s biggest musical acts, right up there with the likes of The Who and The Rolling Stones.

Although Brain Johnson’s hearing problems have more or less forced him into retirement, it’s hard to imagine he would pass up on the opportunity to front AC/DC one last time on the grandest stage on the British music scene.

With Malcolm Young retired due to ill-health, drummer Phil Rudd convicted, Johnson’s hearing problems, and Angus’ ever increasing age, time really is of the essence in attaining an AC/DC headline performance.

If said performance never comes, it will go down as one of the biggest missed opportunities in the history of rock.
