Lady GaGa's Twitter Earns $30 Million A Year

GaGa's constant social media interactions with her 20.7 million fans are responsible for a third of her whole $90 million (£56.8 million) fortune, according to experts.

Pop singer Lady GaGa earns an incredible $30 million (around £19 million) annually from her Twitter page, according to The Wall Street Journal. GaGa's constant social media interactions with her 20.7 million fans are responsible for a third of her whole $90 million (£56.8 million) fortune, according to experts. GaGa, who has more Twitter followers than anyone else in the world and earlier this month set a world record by being the first to cross the 20 million mark, has direct access to her fans say experts. They calculated the $30 million revenue figure each year by estimating that her followers were more likely to buy her music legally from record stores and online because she has created a special bond with them. John Bonini, a Marketing expert explained; " really engages and retweets stuff they say as if she was one of them." GaGa appears on Oprah Winfrey's show tomorrow night (Sunday March 18th) and has revealed she won't be talking to the press after it airs.
