After a far-too-long absence, UK rockers The Darkness return with a music video for their new single Everybody Have a Good Time – the first single release since 2006.
The wait has been agonising for fans, but it’s finally here. This new single is taken from the band’s third album, HOT CAKES (released August 20th, – six years after 2005′s One Way Ticket to Hell … and Back!), and it is quintessentially ‘The Darkness’, which will please fans of the multi-platinum selling band.
Famously, the band is known for their sense of humour, and the inability to take themselves seriously. It’s wonderful, then, to discover that the band’s sense of fun has not diluted over the years, as this brilliantly unusual music video depicts the band’s rescuing of a stripper-bear who has conjured a formula that has put an end to the global recession.
