And now for something completely different... Animals are taking over Twitter, of this there is no doubt. There are dogs and cats with more followers than some famous musicians, actors and professional sportsmen/women. Has the world gone mad? Maybe, but the fact is, some of these accounts are nothing short of hilarious. They make a refreshing change from the droves of celebrity parody accounts, which are used to pretend to be somebody famous to gain followers. Here is a quick run-down of 10 of the best animal accounts on Twitter that you should definitely consider following (in no particular order), some of which have already gained a mass following, some of which deserve one:
10. Weird Horse
Weird Horse is exactly what it says on the tin; a very weird horse. This bizarre equine account has amassed a huge following over the last year and can tweet some very funny material. Often tweeting about the animals and creatures he (I assume it's a 'he') comes in to contact with, he seems to have an affinity for wasps and moths in particular, which is somewhat odd. He's also very good at changing the words to popular songs in to words involving farm animals. Weird Horse is well worth a follow for a few laughs every now and again. Also has his own
