10. Attacking An Inanimate Object...
Just face it, at some point everyone has done a Basil Fawlty at one time or another and attacked an inanimate object. Whether it's slamming down a phone, punching a wall, shouting at your car, or angrily, openly hating your phone because of your own technical failings, it's delightfully simple - and rewarding in the short-term - to take aggressions out on the innocent things that furnish your life. Will your computer really work better if you threaten it with violence? Even if it could hear/understand you, do you really think that turning the air blue in frustration would give it any incentive to work harder or better? Does slamming a door really prove your point and win the argument? Nope. Never has, never will... And deep down you know that.
