10 Creepiest Ever Stephen King Characters

1. Pennywise the Clown - IT

Pennywise "We all float down here!" Is it even possible to find a creepier character in all of the Stephen King mythos, than Pennywise the Dancing Clown, from IT? A demonic shape shifter that can morph into the image of the greatest fear an individual has, IT has been preying on the town of Derry since the beginning of time. An eternal evil entity nearly as old as time itself, IT originated in a void containing and surrounding the Universe, a place referred to in the novel as the "Macroverse€. IT rises from its slumber every 28-30 years to wreak havoc and feed (primarily on the fears of children). During the time of the novel, IT rose in 1957 and IT€™s first victim was the younger brother of the main protagonist, while in the guise of Pennywise. Throughout the remaining summer the Loser€™s Club battled IT and ultimately won a decisive battle vs. IT, but couldn€™t kill IT. In late 1985 the Loser€™s Club reconvened to take IT on once more in a battle to the death.
