10 Surefire Signs Your Starbucks Addiction Is Getting Out Of Hand

Just one more espresso shot can't hurt, can it?

Nowadays, there is at least one easily accessible area of life in which every individual is susceptible to irrevocable addiction. For the gourmet, it's a good meal. For the gourmand, it's a big meal. For the understimulated who don't care so much about sleep, it's Netflix. For anybody who has ever made the mistake of glancing at the list of recommendations after watching a 30-second clip of a baby panda doing something adorable, it's YouTube. Usually, the addiction is relatively harmless, and more distracting than actually crippling. What's wrong with craving chocolate or feeling the need to marathon all nine seasons of The X-Files ASAP? And it's not like that sneezing panda cub is going to swoon at itself. For you, however, the addiction does not lie in multi-course meals or streaming videos. For you, the addiction is far more distressing. For you, the addiction straddles the line between ridiculous and acceptable on a daily basis. That's because for you, it's Starbucks. There are doubters out there who may laugh uncomfortably at your devotion or pass judgment upon your vice. They just don't understand. Still, Starbucks does provide the gateway for an awful lot of distinctly habit-forming tastes, and even you must admit from time to time that you're becoming just a smidge too fanatical in your unconditional love. Or do you? (Really. You do.) So, here are 10 signs that your Starbucks addiction is getting out of hand.

Fiction buff and writer. If it's on Netflix, it's probably in my queue. I've bought DVDs for the special features and usually claim that the book is better than the movie or show (and can provide examples). I've never met a TV show that I won't marathon. Follow on Twitter @lah9891 .
