Jim Gaffigan is a rare breed among celebrities. Not only is he wildly funny but he's also one of the best examples of a family man you can find. That's clearly evident because his wife and five kids commonly pop up in his work and they look like they're all having a blast.

Jim's newest project, The Jim Gaffigan Show, is set to debut on TV Land this July (with week-old episodes to be aired on Comedy Central) and it mirrors his real life. Jim stars in the show and his character is married with five kids, a natural fit for him.

While those who are excited to watch the show via the traditional methods will have to wait, anyone with an ounce of tech savvy can log onto his website (JimGaffigan.com) and stream the first episode now.

In addition to the first episode hitting the web Jim also furthered his online presence this past week to take part in the popular Reddit Ask Me Anything (AMA) forum and he was bombarded with questions from fans.

Most were familiar with his previous work and wanted to ask him about food and his dad bod. Others picked the comic's brain regarding his career and family. There is a gamut of randomness from the mob-style interview and this article has sorted out many of the more interesting comments.

The following 10 topics highlights some of the best takeaways from Jim Gaffigan's Reddit AMA...

In one of the more memorable moments from the movie Super Troopers, an unsuspecting driver gets subjected to an officer who repeatedly says 'meow' instead of 'now.' That driver was Jim Gaffigan.

During this Reddit AMA, Jim was subjected to a user who wanted to quote some lines from that funny scene. He's probably getting tired of the comments because his response had a little agitation with it.

"I worked on super troopers for two hours and people still come up to me and say "meow"."

Surprisingly, Jim then gets both support for his new show and more Super Trooper harassment from the star and director of that very movie, Jay Chandrasekhar...

"Jim, Jay Chandrasekhar here. Meow, I saw your new show. It's really funny."

Would Jim consider being in Super Troopers 2?

"I definitely would but I have no idea what the Broken Lizard guys plans are."

Good news for Gaffigan, because not only has a Super Troopers sequel been successfully crowd-funded through Indiegogo, it's only about $30,000 away from delivering on a promise of LIVE BEARS in the movie. Jim should do whatever he can to be a part of this.
