Each year over 52 million people visit Walt Disney World in Florida. The resort offer its guests a place to escape from reality and venture into the world of princesses, heroes and a certain costumed character with big ears. It’s built as the place where dreams come true, and for most of its guests, it does just that.

There is however much more to Walt Disney World than hot dogs and amusements. With almost 45 years of history, the parks are filled to the brim with interesting trivia and details that every Disney loving geek needs to know.

10. The Car Park Is Big

With over 52,000 guests visiting the Magic Kingdom each day the car park needs to be big.

In fact, the car park is so big you can fit the whole of Disneyland in California into the same space! The Magic Kingdom car park is 125 acres whilst Walt Disney's original theme park creation is only 85 acres.

Just make sure you take notice of where you park your car, with over 12,000 spaces if you forget it could be a long search.
