Everyone has dreamt of becoming a millionaire. Gaining financial freedom, not having to worry about bills, and being able to live in a huge house are all things that most people wouldn't turn down. Unfortunately, gaining your millions just isn't easy. Where some people are born into money and some manage to work their way towards the magic million mark, there's always the dream of having that one lucky break. For many, this means playing the lottery every week. The fortunate few featured here managed to win in a very different way though. This list takes a look at seemingly random objects that managed to transform their owners into unexpected millionaires. From lucky garage sale purchases to pottery that had been gathering dust in the attic, none of these lucky individuals had any idea that they were sitting on a small fortune.

11. Michael Jackson Recordings

Found: Storage unit Value: $2,000,000 + In 2003, a lucky man was able to acquire a storage unit, after paying off an overdue bill on the locker rented by Michael Jackson's father, Joe. Along with a hoard of memorabilia, photos and other possessions, there were also tapes containings over 250 unreleased songs by the star. At first, it seemed like Jackson's record company would have every right to claim the tapes. However, it emerged that the songs had actually been recorded while he we between record deals, making them the property of whoever owned the storage unit. None of the tracks have been publically released, although it's claimed that they included duets with Tina Turner and collaborations with the other Jacksons.
