12 Problems Only Flight Attendants Will Understand

At 35,000 feet - nobody can hear you sigh with disappointment...

A life in the sky is a tough one, there's no denying that. There's a lot of much needed nutrients in those complimentary packets of peanuts and you're secretly scoffing the lot just to keep you going through the exhaustion of keeping your smile fixed wide and making sure all your passengers safe, happy, comfortable and hopefully... sober during your flight. 'Dinner trays up', 'can you keep your legs out of the aisle please', 'I'll get you that eighth beer straight away Sir', 'I will try my best to stop that other passenger's baby from crying', 'No Sir, there's no room up in first class' - the same old drill. You've dealt with every issue in the air you can possibly think of. You're the master of controlling stress and rage. You feel as if you've only just got home but now you're off to catch another flight. Where are you flying to again? Oh, New York that's right. Happens a lot trying to remember which country you're going to be landing in when one minute you're here and the next the wheels are screeching on the runway to whisk you away to the next destination. You're fully trained to deal with any situation but unfortunately there were a few key points that they left out at flight school...
