12 Things That Always Happen On A Staff Night Out

Sometimes you'll wish you were going to the Dundies.

A staff night out will either be the longest and most boring night in your social calendar or they'll be an absolute blast. Depending on your relationship with one another, you may just sit in silence all day long and talk to each other online instead of you know, physically talking to one another or you'll always get into trouble for chatting. Of course, the work environment is gone, it's time for your staff night out and you have no choice but to sit with each other for a few hours - voluntarily outside the workplace - so you can either hate life or make the best out of the situation. Hopefully, you all have a good time but if not, that final minute in paintballing where you shot your boss in the bottom will make up for it. Although you're all friendly with one another the staff night out can be tricky in terms of getting the balance right. After all, you're out with your boss so they probably don't want to hear about your personal life or see you completely voldemortal making out with the new work experience person. You want to show off your personality but at the same time, remain professional because if you're ever up for a promotion, they're probably going to remember the time that you shoved a cheeseburger in your mouth, started dancing and then threw up in a cup. You thought you were being discreet when in reality, everyone was too polite to say anything, or disgusted. So, if you have a staff night out coming up, remember that it isn't exactly a night that should be filled with sambuca and tequila shots; well, not until the boss has left.
