FoxEveryone loves dogs, they are some of the most endearing and loyal creatures you could ever come across. Your dog is your best friend, and it€™s a small blow knowing that no one will be as devoted to you as much as this fluffy, drooling, walking embodiment of love and loyalty. You love your dog, but like anything you love, be it as dear as a significant other or as materialistic as your favourite television show, it€™s not always easy. Sometimes you€™ll fight with your significant other, sometimes the show kills off your favourite characters and sometimes your dog will just down right unleash their bowels upon the sitting room carpet. Raising your dog isn€™t the walk in the park you thought it would be. Unfortunately not all of us have a skill set like Cesar Millan (although we like to think we do) and dealing with your pup can be an arduous task. There€™s hair all over the place, they drool everywhere and there are very few things more embarrassing as picking up your dogs waste when a gorgeous girl walks past. 20. You Never Eat A Meal In Peace

€œOh, that looks really nice. May I have some? Please may I have some? It smells amazing, I want it. Why aren't you giving me any? Do you not love me anymore?€ Every dinner you have goes through the same routine; you sit down with your dish and before you have a chance to put a napkin on your lap your dog instantly appears by your side with their adorable, pleading puppy dog eyes, looking shifty or pretending to not be watching while they lick their lips at the very prospect of guilt tripping you into giving them some scraps. It's so hard to not drop the tiniest pieces of chicken on the floor, the only problem is that once you start, you can never stop.

19. That One Odd Food Your Dog Loves

You don't know how or when this started, but somewhere down the line, your dog comes across a new and unconventional food that blows their mind. It could be something as simple as an ice cube, healthy as an apple, sweet as a cupcake or something as bizarre as your plants.

18. The Marathon Lick

Some dogs can last for hours just munching away at themselves which a uncomfortably large portion of the male population are incredibly jealous of. They always do this at the worst and most inappropriate of times. You€™ll be deep in conversation with your friend or you€™ll be watching the dramatic and tear-jerking ending to Saving Private Ryan, but all you can hear is the slurping noise of your dog licking him or herself downstairs.
