Everybody lies. Most of the time it is about insignificant stuff and a lot of the time it is to try to make whatever story or anecdote that they are telling a little more interesting. Sometimes, the worst happens and someone calls out a lie. The only thing to do in this situation is keep lying. You are already in deep and this person thinks that you are a liar, so make it worth it and lie some more. In for a penny, in for a pound right?
