Honestly, there's no good reason for getting a mugshot. It means you've done something bad and have - as a result of your actions - been brought in by the police. Back in 2011, good old Nic was grabbed by the police after allegedly getting into a confrontation with his wife. He was taken into a New Orleans police station, spent a few hours in the brink, then posted bail. Thankfully he spent just enough time in there for them to snap a lovely photo of him. It's not quite as good as the ridiculous amount of Nic Cage memes adorning the net, but always nice to see celebs aren't totally immune to the long arm of the law.

Taken minutes before he staged yet another breakout from Arkham Asylum, this shot is taken from the Joker's 261st visit to the loony bin.
