This one throws a few people when they first come to Walt Disney World, especially if they've been to either Disneyland or Disneyland Paris.

Unlike Disney's other locations, Walt Disney World's footprint is so big that it is almost impossible to walk between all of the parks.

Walt Disney World is around 40 sq miles in size, making it as big as some cities, including San Francisco and the Greater Manchester area. To help guests get around, Disney have their own complimentary bus service. The famous Monorail can also take you between Epcot and Magic Kingdom.

The exception to the rule is Epcot and Hollywood Studios. You can walk (or even take a boat) between the two parks. Just make sure that you enter/exit Epcot through the International Gateway located between the U.K. and France Pavilions.
