As well as the huge pool, Sapphire Falls has lots of great facilities that you might want to check out.

There's the Kalina gym which over looks the pool area. Perfect if you don't want to miss your training just because you are on holiday. The gym comes equipped with a shower so even on your last day you can still make use of the pool. There's also a laundry room just incase you need to do any washing. I found it useful for drying off clothes that had become drenched on Popeye and Bluto's Bilge Rat Barges

The lobby area had lots of seating and benches where you could sit and relax. There were lots of USB and charging ports throughout the seating area allowing you to quickly charge your phone whilst you hung out. There were also a few benches so if you needed to use your laptop to work whilst your room was being prepared then you could.

If you or your kids love arcades then there's a handy games room to keep you entertained. Sapphire Falls has its own Universal Gift shop where you can get every essential from a toothbrush to a Hufflepuff cloak. There's also lots of walking paths all around the hotel. I was constantly stumbling on an area that I hadn't seen before when out for a stroll.

The hotel is also conveniently located for Universal's CityWalk. The hotel offers a free boat service to take you to and from the parks. You could also take the 15 minute walk along the side of the waterway. On a morning I found that there were quite a few runners using the pathway to jog along. The hotel also has a free shuttle bus that takes you to and from Universal's new water theme park, Volcano Bay. The shuttle runs approximately every 20 minutes and also makes a drop off at the Royal Pacific Hotel.
