5 Things You Need To Know About Andy McNab's Street Soldier

4. It Takes Place In London

With Sean recruited into the army and ready to take on a new test, you might think he'll be off to fight a war in some far-flung land. The battle, however, is much closer to home, as it's taking place on the streets of London, where innocent people are being threatened by a new and terrifying enemy.

It's a marked difference from the usual settings of McNab's books, such as the Liam Scott trilogy (which took place in Afghanistan), or the Nick Stone series, which has taken place all over the globe.

It makes sense, given the main character is a London teenager, and should help add another element of authenticity for UK readers, given it'll be easier to relate and that McNab grew up there.
