8 Reasons Why Maleficent And Daenerys Targaryen Are Basically The Same Person

1. MOTHERF^#*&@% DRAGONS

You have to leave the best for last, right? Upon discovering Diablo being turned into stone and Prince Philip making his escape, Maleficent becomes enraged. After attempting to strike down Philip with lightening bolts, she summons a forest of thorns to surround King Stefan€™s castle. In one of the most iconic scenes in Disney history, Maleficent appears before Philip and TRANSFORMS INTO A F&$#@^& DRAGON. Spraying green flames (Battle of the Blackwater, anyone?) every which way, Maleficent engulfs the thorns with fire and Philip is driven backwards towards a cliff. SPOILER ALERT: Maleficent ends up being impaled with Philip's sword and falls off a cliff, but at least she went down in a blaze of glory, right? Like she says right before walking into Khal Drogo€™s burning funeral pyre: €œNo, no, my good knight, do not fear for me. The fire is mine. I am Daenerys Stormborn, daughter of dragons, bride of dragons, mother of dragons, don€™t you see?€ This pretty much sums it up for Dany€™s symbiotic, motherly relationship with her three dragons, Viserion, Rhaegal and Drogon. SHE€™S THE F*$^#%& MOTHER OF DRAGONS. Dany€™s going to shower King€™s Landing with fire, blood, Unsullied, etc. and take what (arguably) belongs to her! She just, y€™know, has to get there first€ good luck with that, kiddo! €œDracarys!€ Any other comparisons you can think of? Perhaps there are more characters than we're thinking of that have many things in common from both franchises? Let us know in the comments!
