8 Weird Food Combinations (That Actually Taste Awesome)

6. Strawberries In Balsamic Vinegar

This is one that sounds particularly odd, but only because your mind is so used to what we class as 'normal', which in this case, would be cream, not vinegar. Our brain tells us what we do and don't like, and inbuilt defence mechanisms react to stuff like this - just imagine a bottle of green tomato ketchup. Exactly. This sweet-tart combination is actually another scientifically perfected recipe, oh, and it's a lot healthier than pouring chocolate sauce over your strawbs.

5. Jam On Scrambled Eggs

They're always there together at the breakfast table - so it's a surprise no one has egged themselves on to do this one. Jelly and Scrambles is a surprisingly delicious and filling combination that's perfect smothered on toast. Try it: mix in a bit of raspberry conserve in next time you're having eggs for brecky. After all, every thing tastes different with a blob of jammy goodness.
