9 Horrifying "Would You Rather" Questions You Simply Cannot Answer

It's probably for the best that you can't answer these.

Would you rather suffer excruciating torture, or watch one more Adam Sandler movie? Fine, fine, that particular question has an answer: the vast majority of us would gladly opt for the torture. Still, there are some truly difficult (and often just plain silly) questions that pop up from time to time in conversation. Those "would you rather" questions that you cook up with your friends, co-workers, and bar mates when you're particularly bored. These are the questions that you can't answer, or, more accurately, just don't want to answer, because there's no good option: both are equally horrifying. With a gun pointed to the side of your head, you'd still be caught between a rock and a hard place. A place no one likes to be. Difficult choices leave us stuttering and stammering, put on the spot and sweating to come up with an answers. And the rest of the time, you wouldn't want to give an answer at all, because for one, they're horrifying, and for another, your friends would never let you live down the fact that you had an answer in the first place. This is what happens when neither option is good.

9. Lose Your Sense Of Touch Or Sense Of Taste

Is there anything more horrifying than the thought of losing one of your senses? And could you ever possibly choose? Taste is something that makes us happy, at least when things taste good. Food is delicious, and most of us enjoy it. Plus, it can trigger memory, and warn us when something shouldn't be ingested. Touch, on the other hand... imagine losing your sense of touch. Sure, no more feeling stubbed toes, but no more feeling critical injuries, ether. People who lack a sense of touch tend to live shorter lives than those who have it for that very reason. And then there's no longer feeling the act of sex... But then, no more pie? No more cake? Impossible.
