Dublin House Guarded By Dragon Gate Goes On Sale For 2.4 Million Euros

The latest in home security for the very rich!

Dragons are a severely underused form of home security. Honestly, we don't understand why - we've all read The Hobbit, and that Sauron fella kept his fortune safe for months. Doubt we'd be in the global financial dire straits we are today if the fat cats had a scaly firebreather protecting their safes. Anyway, lesson learned, and if you want to invest in a burglar alarm that's a little more impressive than a bleeping box that wouldn't scare an elf, then Harlech House could be for you! Currently the hottest property on the Dublin housing market, the building covers over an acre of land, was built around 1798, and comes with a huge, stainless steel sculpture of a dragon as part of the front gates. It's seriously all of your Tolkien dreams come true, and it looks amazing. It has chainmail wings and everything!
Besides that, Harlech House's extensive makeover between 1993 and 2000 has added a few contemporary twists to the classical design it's boasted since the olden days, full of bespoke wooden furniture and more mythical steel sculptures dotted around the rooms. The Middle Earth-ness doesn't stop there, however. We mean, just look at that shed! That totally looks like it belongs in Hobbiton. The whole house is impressive, but honestly, we'll still reeling over the idea of having a huge dragon sculpture on our drive. Now that would put off those door-to-door salesman. Just a shame we haven't quite saved up enough for the 2.5 million euro asking price. Might be time to go raid that dwarven mountain...
