Sponsored Video: Different Takes Guts

Giffgaff With Halloween now out of the way for another year, and the skeletons, fake blood and corny novelty party food all packed away to gather dust until next October, attention will now turn to the happier, safer festive fun of Christmas. But we're not quite done with the gore just yet, as giffgaff staged what can only be described as a goresome Halloween party with a difference, inviting 150 willing souls to an empty swimming pool, for a bloody party like no other. There were no fake cobwebs or plastic surprise skeletons, nor were there the twenty obligatory Breaking Bad costumes or zombie versions of every conceivable character - instead the completely white-wearing party-goers were bathed in blood and horribly authentic entrails, guts and bodyparts. The idea was clearly to reinvent the iconic La Tomatina tomato festival that forms part of the Spanish cultural calendar, with blood and guts in place of tomatoes (all fake, thankfully - no humans were eviscerated in the making of this video,) and the result is gloriously gorey. Warning, what follows is arguably the most gruesome thing outside of a Dario Argento movie... Now that's a Halloween party to remember, but God help the cleaners. The video was directed by Jonas & Francois, with a tub-thumping tack from Deap Vally called "Walk of Shame", and you have to suspect that it's not going to make too many friends with the more fragile TV censors.
