9 Reasons Why Vaccination Is Definitely A Thing You Should Do

Because of course it is.

"Hey, you, do you want this thing that could literally save your life?" "No thanks" ~ said no one ever
Vaccination has become a controversial topic over recent years, with the latest wave of hysteria probably being kicked off by the MMR/autism scandal in 1998 (don't worry, we'll get to that). There's something very odd about our instinct to distrust people who appear to be smarter than ourselves, but it's the instinct that make us more likely to listen to celebrities on Twitter and worried mums on internet forums, rather than people whose entire career is dedicated to making sure that you stay as healthy as possible. Many of the people alive today (probably thanks to vaccination) aren't old enough to have seen great epidemics of disease sweep the population, nor the introduction of medicines that put a stop to them. All we see now is a healthy population and some guy in a white coat telling us that we've got to inject our kids with stuff. A heady combination of misinformation, confirmation bias and paranoia has created a bogeyman that doesn't really have any right to exist. So, lets have a go at sorting out fact from fiction and why you should vaccinate yo' kids.
