What Is A Community User?

WhatCulture Community
WC

As a Community User, you’re able to create as much content as you like for consideration. You can create Quizzes, Lists, write News or interesting Film Theories to be submitted, as well as taking on Assignments put out by the editors. The key is to recognise what we publish as a site and to create something that would fit and would complement what we do.

Submission is NOT a guarantee of publication, but every submission will be considered by the editorial team. Any submission that is not chosen for publication will expire after 28 days and we reserve the right to reject submissions at any point before that too.

All published submissions will be housed in our Community section, but anything that stands out - whether by quality, timeliness or another reason - can be promoted to the main site and sometimes the Homepage.

If your work is published and you consistently create compelling content to a high standard, as well as responding well to feedback over time, you could be promoted to our Contributor level.

Contributors have the benefit of immediately improved visibility for their content. Published work will be included in the main site’s categories and have a greater chance of making the Homepage. Contributors also have access to more Assignments and can work more closely with the editorial team on feedback and guidance through our internal messaging system.

Everyone gets paid for published content, but Contributors have a greater chance to create more content, with greater visibility and more of a chance to earn.
