10. Mark Noble, West Ham (Games Played 25, Goals 4, Assists 2)
Not so much that he has been surprising this year (the talent has always been there) but the fact that he has excelled in a team that has about as much flair as Hugh Jackman's wardrobe. He was rightly awarded West Ham's 'Player of the Year' last year and it is evident this season why the fans covet him so much. Although players such as Nolan, and to some respect Carroll, get all the plaudits, Noble goes about his job in midfield putting in 100% effort in every match. He may only have 4 goals and 2 assists this season but his consistent, dangerous set piece delivery has hugely benefitted the imposing back-line of the Hammers.
