10 Non-Title Heavyweight Bouts UFC Needs To Make

We all want to see King Kong vs. Godzilla.

The heavyweight division has (no pun intended) some of the biggest names in the UFC, and a number of big fights have gone down, or been booked, recently. There are never enough big men in the organization's ranks, however, and a lack of top prospects coming up means we often see the same old names fighting each other again and again. Think Junior Dos Santos and Cain Velasquez fighting three times within two years, or Velasquez meeting Bigfoot Silva twice within that same timeframe. That's just the title picture, however. Outside the champ, there are a lot of heavyweight fights we would like to see. A lot of them involve some of the top names in the division, while others involve legends. You have the likes to Josh Barnett, Andrei Arlovski, Alistair Overeem, Roy Nelson, Travis Browne, Mark Hunt, Stipe Miocic, and others vying for relevancy in the division. They're all capable of knocking out their opponents at any given moment - but they can just as easily lose. With the amount of power in the division, fortunes can change with just a single punch. So what bouts should the UFC make? What bouts have us salivating? Who do we want to see go head to head in the 225-265lb division of the UFC? Lets examine ten non-title heavyweight bouts the UFC needs to make, and soon!
