Thanks to no wins this season and precious few in 2014 as a whole, Newcastle boss Alan Pardew is far from flavour of the month, and every time he mentions polishing his Manager Of The Year award, he loses a few more fans. It's clearly not just his managerial ability that grinds people's gears, as he has a remarkable habit of saying entirely the wrong things. Take for example the time he was invited onto Match of The Day 2 as a pundit and said that Michael Essien "absolutely raped" Ched Evans off the ball. Clearly, he meant the physical competition was unfairly imbalanced, but the choice of words - which inspired 35 complaints - was ill-advised to say the least. As well as those 35 people, and presumably every rape charity in the world, Pardew has also managed to upset and fall out with a phenomenal amount of people in and around the game over his relatively short career. When you set it all out, it's quite impressive that he has somehow managed to survive in the game for this long...
