Following on from the last point, while we might see some of the big stars fail to live up to the hype this summer, we should also see some veritable unknowns blast themselves into the big time and maybe even earn themselves some big money moves in the process.

Part of the fun of watching any World Cup is seeing these little-known players stride onto the biggest stage of all and write their name into footballing lore. When the tournament begins, little is expected of these players, but by the end, fans from all four corners of the globe are chanting their names.

This summer, there are plenty of possible breakout players involved in every group. Uruguay's Rodrigo Bentancur (pictured), Australia's Daniel Arzani, Senegal's Ismaila Sarr, and Morocco's Hakim Ziyech are just a few of the players who have a lot of potential and could star for their sides during the 2018 World Cup.
