The 2015/16 season will be Arsene Wenger€™s 20th (19th full) season in charge of Arsenal and the Premier League€™s longest serving manager has undoubtedly been one of the most influential men in the evolution of English football. Wenger completely changed the managerial blueprint, inciting vast advancements to transfer policies, player nutrition and various other factors. His success can largely be attributed to his extensive scouting network and he has introduced dozens of phenomenal talents to English football since arriving in September 1996. Some of those moves were incredibly inspired, such as rescuing Thierry Henry from Italy and reinventing him, and snaffling talent away from top Spanish and French sides. However, not every transfer has worked out: some of his most promising arrivals that failed to produce the goods in London, despite the manager's pedigree in signing young, upcoming talents.
