10 Things Man Utd Need To Learn From City & Liverpool

They may hate each other, but there's one or two things United can learn from their arch rivals.

Manchester United fans may not want to admit this, but there are lessons they can learn from their hated rivals Liverpool and Manchester City. Each finished above the Red Devils during a disappointing tenure under David Moyes last season, and if United want to get back among the big time, they may well look to their north-west foes for inspiration. City and Liverpool have been in similar positions to United before €“ during the late 1980€™s and early 1990€™s a Sir Alex Ferguson side before the knighthood were trying to €œknock Liverpool off their f****** perch€ and become the top dogs in town while the Citizens are trying to achieve a similar objective today. Liverpool meanwhile have known what it feels like to be the dominant force in English football only to have it snatched away, with United perhaps experiencing those very feelings today in these uncertain post-Ferguson times. Now, the tutor has become the tutee, with City and Liverpool riding high and the Red Devils languishing in seventh and out of Europe altogether for the first time in 14 years. The boot, as they say, is well and truly on the other foot. However, there are lessons to be learned from Liverpool and City as United fans prepare themselves for another season, and here, we take you through 10 things Man Utd need to learn from their two Premier League rivals.
