Every single football team in the world who don't win many trophies look back at any given season and wonder what might have been if certain decisions had gone their way, or if things had panned out differently, believing they've been badly done to in the process. Quite often, dodgy refereeing decisions make the headlines ahead of spectacular goals, great performances and freak results. Managers, players and fans alike are regularly outspoken in their criticism of referees who are judged to have cheated their teams out of goals, victories and points - with managers and players often finding themselves in hot water with their relevant footballing governing bodies as a result. There are, of course, other factors - in addition to refereeing decisions - that can result in teams feeling hard done by. Spurs are no different.
